I began experimenting with different tones using the inking/removal of ink process. On some plates I would apply the ink heavily and take off more, or barely apply any ink and take off very little. I have grown fond of having a light grey tone in the back round of the print. They are not perfect, but progress is being made...

This was my first print that I created. Considering this was my very first, I am happy with the turn out. I focused more on the technique of etching/printing and chose this design to play it safe. But, I do believe that has opened a can of worms....
